First Emma Watson Makeup Tutorial

Today, as promised, is the first Emma Watson makeup tutorial as voted for by you. This is one of my favourite looks and is so simple and is an excellent summer look for night or day. Hope you enjoy it. Watch the video below and scroll down for a complete list of all the products I used for the look and a detailed How-to on how I replicated the look.

How-to:
Products you'll need
Aapri Exfoliation Pads
Nivea Soft Moisturiser
Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion
L'Oreal True Match Foundation: N1 Ivory
Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder: 003 Peach Glow
Bourjois Paris Blush: 54 Rose Frisson
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Maxfactor Earth Spirits: 101 Pale Pebble (For this use a shade which matches your skin tone)
Barry M Dazzle Dust Singles in: Gold (96) & Pink (86)
(Optional) Rimmel London Exaggerate Waterproof Eyeliner: 261 Noir
Rimmel London Professional Eyebrow Pencil: 001 Dark Brown (The colour should match the colour of your eyebrow)
Maxfactor False Lash Effect: Black

Face
After exfoliating and moisturising, apply the facial primer. This will help your foundation stay on longer. I feel it is a testament to a primer when you come home at the end of the day or a night out and find your foundation coming off on a facial wipe. Next apply your foundation. This should match your skin tone. A good test to do when buying a foundation is put a tiny bit on your palm on the fleshy part below your thumb. This part of your hand resembles the skin on your face the most and will therefore give you a good guide to the shade before you buy it. Next apply powder. Don't apply to much as you don't want your skin to look too dry. Just a little bit on your nose, lower cheek and forehead. Next for the blusher. To apply blusher correctly, suck in your cheeks. This will make your cheek bones stand out more and will give you a good marker for where to apply the colour.

Eyes
First apply primer to the top lid (going all the way up to the brow) and bottom lid. Then using a blending brush (the fatter one) apply an eyeshadow which matches your skin tone. This will give a good base to what goes on top. Then apply the Gold Dazzle Dust to the inner half of your eyelid using a thin eyeshadow brush. Remembering the stay on the top lid only. Be careful when using Dazzle Dust as they are very fine powders and are very messy. Use a little bit at a time and build your colour up. Using too much at once will be extremely messy! Once you're happy with the Gold, apply the pink to the outer corner, cleaning your brush beforehand.

You can apply eyeliner if you want but it is unnecessary as Emma doesn't wear any in this particular look. If you want to keep it minimal. Keep to the outer corner and as close to the lash line as possible to give a little bit of definition. For your eyebrows you will need a pencil colour which matches your own eyebrow colour. Remember that Emma's looks, while being colourful are also very natural, so keep to your own colouring. Brush out your brows first and fill them in. Make sure to stay within your own contours and fill in where necessary but don't make them unnaturally thick or dark. Unless you actually have dark brows. Lip gloss is optional as it doesn't look as if she's wearing anything on her lips. Putting a tiny bit of foundation on your lips would suffice. If you want to put a bit of colour on your lips, keep it natural. Either use a nude gloss or a light pink. Next apply mascara and you're done with the look.
