The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Last week, as most of you will know, Emma along with Oliver (@OliverPhelps) & James Phelps (@James_Phelps), Robbie Coltrane and Matthew Lewis (@Mattdavelewis) visited the brand new Harry Potter Theme Park in Florida. The visit was a huge success and looked like so much fun. I can't personally wait to go myself! From the pictures and videos which were released, the park looked amazing. It looks like they've got everything down to a tee. Anyway, on with the fashion.

The dress was perfect for the hot Florida weather and looked lovely. I loved everything about this dress: it's girliness, the colour, the length and the style. It is a Modcloth Zanzibar Dress in Blue.

She wore the dress with a pair of Cynthia Vincent Olympia Sandals.

And topped off the look with a white Chanel Camelia Headband

National Movie Awards 2010

Before I start talking about the outfit I'm going to gush a little. You can skim past this if you want. I, like most guys & girls born in 1990/91 grew up with the Harry Potter series. I was just about to embark upon my first year at secondary school when the first instalment appeared on screens, the second came out when I was in my second year and so on. So in this sense I feel like I've grown up along with the cast, Harry, Ron and of course Hermione. I read the books and fell in love with them at first read. There was just something so (forgive the pun) spellbinding about the whole world J.K. Rowling created. It has created such a legacy that will be hard to beat. Obviously it has some competition with the Twilight Series, which I am also a huge fan of. However, this series has spanned for over a decade. It is just amazing, and a little overwhelming to think that it was around this time ten years ago that the films got started. It's also pretty scary to think I was ten. Basically Harry Potter has such an emotional hold over me and they are some of my favourite movies of all time. November 2012 will be an incredibly sad month. I have no idea what I will do. Between this and the fact that the Twilight series will also be coming to a close it will be a dark time for the movie industry. I feel like any words I say will not be enough, or will not convey my feelings in the proper way. I can't even begin to imagine how the cast feel about this. If I, a mere fan, feel like in November 2012 will be losing a limb, how do Emma, Rupert & Daniel feel? Anyway. Enough gushing. There will be plenty of that to come! Now on to the outfit!

I love this outfit! When I first saw it I thought, Chanel. And I was close. This is a Karl Lagerfeld Spring 2010 Dress. I loved the shape and the classic Chanel-esque black and white. It also wasn't too serious. There's definitely a playful edge to this. It was very Emma.

I love, love, loved these shoes! From the bows, to the sandal body, to the ankle height to the classic Louboutin red sole. They are the Louboutin Miss Butterfly Sandals

As for accessories she's wearing a Chanel Cometes Diamond Ring

Vogue Italia 2008

This is my favourite photo shoot. In my opinion it is the most beautiful photo shoot I have ever seen and had the pleasure of owning. I bought Italian Vogue in August of 2008 because it was Italian, I myself being part Italian, not knowing what I would find inside. My best friend who was with me (@xmarieclairex) bought French Vogue that same day because she is part French. The main magazine was huge. I was so heavy it actually broke the bag on my way home. There were two other magazines with it which were much, much smaller in size but inside one of them was Emma's shoot. I was flicking through the pages, as I do with any magazine when I first get it and thought I saw a face a recognised. This face turned out to be Emma's. The scream I let out almost resulted in my mum crashing the car, but anyway. I was stunned by it. I had never seen Emma like this before and the clothes, sets, props and makeup were each as stunning as the last.

We'll start with this one. This is picture has a dark feel to it, as did this particular line. This dress is the Chanel Haute Couture Fall 2008 Berry Puff Sleeve Dress.

The next look and picture was a playful one. You can tell by the cheeky grins on both Emma and the model in the scene. This is a Christian Lacroix Fall 2008 Couture Dress, worn with Sergio Rossi Pointed Toe Patent Pumps and Wolford Tights.

The next dress is a work of art. It is a Dior Haute Couture 2008 Dress and one of my favourite looks of the spread.

When I saw this picture I was floored. It did not look like Emma at all. She looked so grown up and elegant, which is no change for Emma but there was something different about this. It is a Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2008 Couture Gown

Atelier Versace Fall 2008 Gown

This shoot was definitely a Valentino overload, but I wasn't complaining. This is the first of three Valentino Fall Couture 2008 Dresses in pale purple...

...Green...

...and red.

This is a Givenchy Fall 2008 Couture Dress

I love this 1920s look on Emma. It suits her magnificently! This is a Dior Haute Couture 2008 Blue Dress worn with Dior Haute Couture Fall 2008 sandals in cream.

And the last look, but by no means least, is an Armani Prive Dress.

Emma in Vanity Fair

Patrick Demarchelier has to be one of my favourite people in the world. He recently directed the photo shoot with "Young Hollywood" including Kristen Stewart and I thought his styling & direction was exquisite. Yet again he has struck gold, first by choosing Emma to do a shoot with and with the style. There is not one piece in this shoot which I would throw out or say anything bad against.

Here Emma wears Chanel Spring 2010 RTW Beige Voile Dress with a Chanel Necklace from the same collection

This is my favourite outfit. It looks so cute, comfortable and girly. It's a Nina Ricci Spring 2010 Blush Ruffle Top & Hotpants. In this shot she's also wearing two rings; on her middle finger a Fred Leighton ring and on the other is a Doyle & Doyle ring which I have a default picture for.

The next outfit is a brief one as it is only the jacket pictured. It is a Valentino Embellished Jacket

The bra featured here is an Eres Tuileries Theme Bra in the shade Origan

Finally, the last outfit is also brief in the actual magazine, but behind the scenes show she is wearing a beautiful dress. This is a Phillip Treacy Spring 2010 Hat.

Lanvin Spring 2010 RTW Draped Grecian Dress

When I find some HQ photos of her in this shoot, or when I buy the magazine for myself, I will do a makeup tutorial. Watch this space.
