Hey everyone!
As I have posted on Twitter, I am coming back with new tutorials and new posts. Sorry for the long absence but the last few months of university have been hectic but so much fun. I hate it that my second year is now over. I had my last exam last Thursday and ever since I’ve had to say goodbye to a lot of people which I am incredibly sad about but I can’t be too sad because I’m seeing most of them again in September!
For everyone who is still suffering through exams, I wish you all the best of luck and for those who have already finished like me, I hope you’re enjoying the beginning of summer as much as I am.
So, stay tuned for more posts, updates and makeup tutorials coming soon!
Thanks,
Maria.
Emma has been out in full force for the past few days at Pre-BAFTA parties which air later on tonight. I personally cannot wait to see what she wears to the event.
There have been two events so far and makeup tutorials coming for both and for the event itself. For the first outfit, I’m still working on finding the name of the dress, however, her shoes and trench are easy enough to identify. The coat worn was her custom made Burberry trench and shoes Jimmy Choo Cosmic Platform Pumps.
At the second outing, Emma wore a Chanel RTW V-Neck Dress from their Fall 2008 collection and the same shoes as before.

FACE
Always moisturise first. My current moisturiser is Nivea Soft. Then I applied my foundation using a Mac 190 foundation brush in a light, sheer layer. After you have done your eye makeup come back and add a brightener to your cheek bones and temples and powder the rest of your face.
EYES
Before you apply any shadow you may use a primer, i would recommend the Urban Decay Primer potion. I haven’t used one here but you may if you don’t want to take any risks with the staying power of your makeup. I used the lightest shade of shadow in the Avon palette as my base. Then using any flat shadow brush, I applied “In the Buff” to the lid, underneath the eye and up towards the brow bone. This is a creamy white colour. Then using an angled brush (i used the one given in the “Naked Eye” palette by Too faced), I applied “Stiletto” in a line above the crease. I extended this line into a soft flick at the outer corner and blended it using a Mac 223 brush. Don’t apply the colour too heavily, the colour you want to achieve is a dark grey colour. Keep blending and re-applying until you achieve this colour. Then if you need to apply the white again to the lid. Next using a thin eyeliner brush, apply a gel liner to the top lid from the inner corner gradually getting thicker towards the outer corner and create a soft, short flick. Then using the pencil liner, line the lower lid with a thin liner close to the lash line. Once you’ve made up your brows, curl your lashes and apply tonnes of mascara.
BROWS
For brows, I have used the Too Faced shadow “Unmentionables” this is a dark brown colour. I applied it using an angled brush. create a strong thick brow and to create texture, apply clear mascara afterwards.
