So this month, Emma is on the cover of British Vogue and it’s about time. She is perfect for Vogue and by the looks of the shoot it was a great decision. It was a very ‘60s themed shoot with the makeup and clothes. She looks extremely relaxed which is probably because Mario Testino was the photographer. Yet again, he’s done an amazing job. Today I’ve got the fashion breakdown for you and the makeup tutorial. Hope you enjoy it!
The first look I’ll look at is the cover, or the picture above. In this picture, Emma wears the Valentino Fall 2010 Haute Couture white embroidered dress.
From here, it only gets better. In the next look, Emma wears a beautiful Valentino Fall 2010 HC Feather Embroidered Strapless dress.
In the next look, Emma wears Valentino’s White leather gloves with bows and a Maje Balled Wool top.
Here, she wears a Giambattista Valli Fall 2010 RTW White dress.
And finally, in this pose, Emma wears the Chanel Resort 2011 White Tiered dress

FACE
First , I applied foundation using the Beauty Blender (a review of which you can watch in the video). Then I used a press powder on key areas such as my forehead, nose and chin.
EYES
First I applied the UD primer potion and applied the “Midnight Cowboy” colour using a regular eyeshadow brush. This is basically a pale brown which amazing sparkle. If you’re using this colour be sure to place a tissue underneath your eye to catch any fall-down. Next, using a Ruby & Mille eyeshadow brush, I applied “Twice Baked” to the socket quite heavily and blended the colour using a blending brush. I repeated this step until the colour was dark enough. Next I applied the cream eyeliner in a cats eye shape with a small flick at the end on the top lid going right from the inner corner to the outer corner, and applied the liner to the outer half of my lower lid and connected the two lines. Next, apply either white eye liner or white eyeshadow to the inner corner on the lower lid. This opens up your eye a little bit. Apply mascara and you’re done with your eyes.
BROWS
As always, Emma’s brows are thick and beautiful. First I brushed out my brows and applied a dark brown brow pencil. I made my brows quite square yet rounded at the start and created a thick brow until the tip, where I only lined a thin line. You can apply a tiny bit of clear mascara to hold the hairs in place, but if you are using the AVON pencil you won’t need to as it keeps the hairs in place very well.
LIPS
All you need for lips is a pale pink lipstick or a nu
de/pink lipstick. Keep it natural and I would advise wearing a matte lipstick. Don’t go for a gloss.
Hope you enjoyed that! Stay tuned for more videos, fashion breakdowns and tutorials coming soon!
