GQ Men of the Year Awards 2013

Risqué and revealing are just two words to describe Emma’s outfit to this event.

Showing off her toned “hi-driff” Emma sported a monochrome outfit entirely from the Balenciaga Resort 2014 collection. I loved this look, it was daring yet retained the high level of class only Emma can achieve. She has always said an outfit should show off either your cleavage or legs – never both.

She played by the rules with this outfit by keeping the colours simple (black and cream), but dared to cross her own boundaries by showing a little more skin than she would be used to on the red carpet.

Her hair and makeup were also classic Emma. Simple yet effective by accentuating her beautiful features; and seeing how adventurous the outfit was it was right to keep the beauty aspects and jewellery to a minimum. She can only be seen wearing her mothers diamond ring on her little finger.

I’m guessing Charlotte Hayward was the makeup artist here for one reason: the braid. Charlotte once tweeted to Emma saying that when they teamed up braids always made an appearance. I can’t say for certain but I’m pretty sure Charlotte did the makeup and hair.

An Austrian Affair

During the summer, Emma with friend Derek Blasberg attended the glamorous wedding of Caroline Sieber in Austria. There were lots of fun photos from her time in Vienna (including a few of Emma in traditional Austrian attire), but for now we’ll get straight to the outfit.
Her dress was by Carven from the SS 2013 RTW collection paired with Jimmy Choo Anouk Suede Pumps.

And as promised…

Here Emma also wears one of her favourite necklaces of the moment, a Jack Vartanian Handcuffs Necklace.
